If you haven’t joined Assembly for the Arts, the nonprofit created to raise money to directly support artists and arts projects, now might be a good time because their quarterly assembly even is coming up. (And you can attend even if you’re not a member to check it out for a very small fee, which includes lunch).
The theme of the summer assembly is “Where Art Meets Water: Integrating the Arts into Cleveland’s Waterfront,” which is pretty much self-explanatory. It will feature four speakers from local arts and development organizations: Keisha M. González of LAND studio, Emily Bacha from Fresh Water Institute, Scott Skinner of City of North Coast Waterfront Development Corporation, and Allison Lukacsy-Love of KSU Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative. Hear the latest proposals and plans and add your two cents.
It takes place at the Midtown Collaboration Center. Register to attend here.
