Help Get the Cultural Gardens Ready for Spring at Earth Day Clean-Up

Sat 4/25 @ 10AM-1PM

The Cleveland Cultural Gardens are one of Cleveland’s hidden treasures, most frequently viewed from a car window as drivers hustle down MLK Drive from University Circle to the Shoreway. But whether you’re one of the occasional cyclists and joggers traversing the area or just viewing the gardens from a car, their beauty is balm.

But they don’t magically beautify themselves. And if you’d like to help prep them for their spring and summer peak bloom time, you can sign up for the Cultural Gardens’ first big spring clean-up. Meet the gang at the gardens’ Centennial Peace Plaza across from St. Casimir’s Way at 10am. Volunteers will then be deployed to different gardens to weed and rake so they can be planted. They will issue garden gloves to those who don’t have them (bring your own if you do) and provide water and snacks. Make new friends and get a good feeling from knowing that you helped get these lovely oases ready to flourish.

To register sign up here. Call 216-220-3075 if you need more information.
