With the burgeoning number of galleries and arts neighborhoods (and buildings) in Cleveland, it’s easy to forget about the one that started it all: Little Italy. The neighborhood fanning out from the intersection of Murray Hill and Mayfield still boasts galleries and artist studios in the storefronts and the old Murray Hill Schoolhouse, and hosts its Art Walk weekends three times a year.
This weekend is its summer art walk, a great time to check out what’s new in this bustling neighborhood, which has seen a lot of new housing going up in recent years, while still maintaining its storefront galleries, businesses and especially its many legendary eateries. Plan to come down for dinner and browse before and after.
