Blue Lunch Performs at BOP STOP with Guest Vocalist/Harpist Tad Robinson

Fri 4/22 @ 8PM

Blue Lunch is an institution in Cleveland. The nine-member band, which plays high-energy horn-driven jump blues/soul/jazz/early rock & roll, has been making the rounds of area venues of all types for more than 35 years and released eight albums. Some of its members are area veterans who’ve been with the band a long time; others, such as vocalist Maya Nicholson and recent Florida transplant guitarist/vocalist Billy Seward, are new.

Despite its longevity, Blue Lunch is always reinventing itself, doing collaborations with other artists. For its latest (of many) gigs at the BOP STOP, it’ll be joined by soul blues vocalist/harmonica player Tad Robinson who’s a veteran of the Chicago blues scene and many major international blues festivals.

In-person tickets are $20; you can also listen live on the BOP STOP’s Facebook page for free. If you’re moved and want t o support the musicians, you can make a donation here.
