Downtown Lakewood Launches New Spring Stroll Event

Sun 5/7 @ 11AM-2PM

The Lakewood calendar just keeps getting packed with more and more events. There’s a new one on the calendar that takes advantage of two of the city’s greatest strengths: food and the arts.

The new event, called Spring Stroll, is a progressive brunch, taking place on Sunday May 7 at 12 locations in downtown Lakewood, with 14 participating business owners. They include Aladdin’s; Avenue Home; Blossom; Cotton with Veterans Logistics; Forage; Geiger’s; Images Photographic Art Gallery; lion and blue; Melt Bar & Grilled; Rozi’s Wine House; Sauced Taproom with Edward Jones; and Tea Lab.

At each location, people will get a brunch item, such as a mimosa or lavender lemonade, and see a different art medium, with art works available for sale as well. And the St. Ed’s Trash Talkers percussion ensemble will be playing outside Cotton on Detroit. Each participant will also get a canvas tote with gifts and coupons from local merchants and be entered in a raffle to win an art work from Images Gallery.

Tickets are $35 and are limited to 200. If the popularity of the Downtown Lakewood Business Alliance’s fall Chocolate Walk is any indication, they’ll sell out, so grab them now. Go here. It’s 21 and over only.
