Sun 10/19 @ 2-4PM
Pittsburgh-based classical composer Nancy Galbraith, 74, has amassed a catalog of compositions during her nearly 50-year-career that include pieces doe orchestra, choirs, chamber groups, wind ensembles and soloists. She’s currently chair of composition at the Carnegie Mellon University School of Music. And she’s the latest composer to have her music featured in the Local 4 Music Fund-sponsored She Roars series at the BOP STOP, with each concert focusing on the music of a living woman composer.
The event is free (although donations are very welcome!); a reception follows the performance. It will also be livestreamed on BOP STOP’s Youtube Channel.
