Baseball fans are often fountains of knowledge about players, stats, game trivia — history buffs for their favorite sport.
These folks should be in heaven at the Baseball Heritage Museum’s Baseball Pioneers Weekend. Filmmaker Jon Leonoudakis will be there to screen new documentaries about pioneering women players on Saturday and former Cleveland Indians player Jim “Mudcat” Grant (pictured) on Sunday. Each will be followed by an audience Q&A where you can show off what a hotshot you are by asking about obscure things, and a signing of Leonoudakis’ new book Baseball Pioneers.
Both programs are free and open to all.
