While there are a couple of big, well-known Greek Festivals in the area (the Memorial Day festival at Annunciation Church in Tremont, the late July festival at St. Helen and Constantine’s in Cleveland Heights), there are a lot of smaller Greek festivals you may not know about that are ready to serve up some tasty spanakopita, souvlaki, moussaka and baklava.
One of those takes place this weekend at St. Paul Greek Orthodox Church in North Royalton. Will there be tons of food made by parishioners? You bet! And you can pick up food at the drive-through if you’re pressed for time. If you’re not, find a place to sit and enjoy your food and take in the ethnic entertainment, and once you’re done take a church tour and browse the specialty boutiques.
