Erie County’s Quarry Hill Orchards Celebrates Apple Harvest with a Festival

Sat 10/10 @ 10AM-4PM

For the tenth year, Erie County’s Quarry Hill Orchards is hosting its fall harvest celebration, Apple Peak, with the chance to enjoy fall’s bounty and take part in some fun activities as well. There’ll be so much going on you’ll have to pace yourself.

You can start by taking a self-guided walking tour of the Quarry Hill Orchards property, learning about its history, its current operations and its future plans. Get a “passport” to complete by visiting ten interactive stations. Take your time to really enjoy the outdoor property

In addition, there will be orchard wagon rides and pick-your-own-apples opportunities, and local musicians will be providing live music all day. There’s an apple pie-baking contest, food trucks, apple fritter sundaes featuring freshly baked apple fritters and Mitchell’s caramel ice cream, and a variety of local vendors to browse offering handmade crafts, baked goods, stuff for pets and more.

The event is free and open to all, with optional ticketed activities available. Go HERE to learn more.
