Pickings can be slim if you’re looking for something fun to do on a Monday evening. You pretty much have to make your own fun to find things for the kids to do.
But this Monday, the Geauga Park District has come to your rescue. Its Frohring Meadows is the site of Monday FUN-Day: Big Games in the Park. It’s an event designed for people of all ages, so bring your family, a picnic dinner, and a blanket, and come out to play oversized versions of games such as yard dice, dominoes, chess, checks, four-in-a-row and Jenga, as well as popular outdoor games such as mini golf and cornhole.
Kids can also have fun in the nearby Pollinator Play Garden. And if games aren’t your things, there are 3.5 miles of trails to walk, taking you through meadows and woodlands.
It’s free and no registration is required.
