Tue 6/23 @ 11:30am
Chef Vinnie Cimino is on the rise. He’s made it all the way from his native Akron to become a three-time James Beard Award nominee (2024-26) and snag a Best New Chefs mention in Food &Wine Magazine in 2025. Northeast Ohioans have access to proof with his local restaurants Cordelia on East 4th Street in downtown Cleveland and open-fire ROSY in Ohio City. Before opening his own place, he’d worked at the celebrated Greenhouse Tavern on East 4th Street. He’s committed to using ingredients mostly sourced from within 200 miles.
He’ll be doing a special talk for Akron Roundtable titled “How Chef Vinnie Cimino Cooks with Intention,” moderated by Jason Horinger. It takes place at Quaker Station on a Tuesday, outside Akron Roundtable’s regular schedule, and includes networking, luncheon and Q&A. Buffet starts at 11:30; program starts at noon.
