One of the most magical evenings we can recall is when we took an evening cruise on the Goodtime III with Cleveland reggae star Carlos Jones & his P.L.U.S. Band. While the band performed in front of a packed cabin filled with dancing fans, others sat on the deck and enjoyed the sunset over Lake Erie and views of downtown Cleveland and the Flats from multiple angles. When we took the cruise, we sat with a group of longtime lady friends from Chicago who booked getaways and happened to see a listing for this event; they were in awe of the view and the vibe.
Reggae on the Water: The One Love Reggae Cruise is back, and there are few better ways to spend one of the longest days of the year. Food will be available and the fully stocked bars will offer island-themed drinks as well as others. Meanwhile ’Los and his friends will be filling the balmy evening with the sounds of languid rockin’ reggae — their own tunes, familiar to Cleveland music fans, along with some beloved Marley classics.
