Amanda Uhl is a Northeast Ohio-based novelist whose interests include romance and the paranormal, sometimes both at the same time. She’s written more than half a dozen books with a new one about to drop. It’s titled Icing on the Cake, and it’s set in Cleveland’s near west side neighborhood of Tremont, a notoriously insular enclave that was one of Cleveland’s first neighborhoods to be colonized by artists. It involves a chance meeting of a Hollywood star and a restaurant owner and … complications happen.
Uhl will be hosting a book launch party at Koffie Café in Ohio City where the book’s trailer was filmed. At the three-hour event you can see the trailer, listing to a reading from the book and take part in a Q&A, purchase the book and get it signed, and chat with the author. It’s free and open at all.
