Greg Banaszak is a saxophone player whose music spans jazz and classical music. He’s appeared on albums with jazz groups and orchestras, and he serves on the faculty of Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Institute of Music.

He’s put together an all-star northeast Ohio quintet to perform at the Irishtown Bend Taproom, featuring a lineup of noted area musicians. They include pianist Theron Brown, trombone player Chris Anderson, bassist Aidan Plank and drummer Patrick ‘Duke” Graney. In addition, the Case Jazz Combos — two ensembles featuring 18 student musicians — will provide the opening set.
