Forum Looks at How AI Is Changing Health Care

Sun 3/1 @ 9-10AM

The Unitarian Universal Society of Cleveland’s Forums That Matter invite the whole community to stop down to its Fellowship Hall to hear an expert talk about an issue that’s been on people’s minds and to ask questions.

This week’s forum deals with Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare, bringing together two issues people are worried about. “What We Gain, What We Risk” will feature Dr. Po-Hao (Howard) Chen, Chair of Artificial Intelligence for the Diagnostics Institute and Medical Director for Enterprise Radiology Informatics at the Cleveland Clinic, talking about how AI is reconfiguring medicine, what benefits it brings to patients, doctor and other health care providers, and what challenges and risks are involved. “It is said that AI won’t replace doctors, but doctors who use AI will replace doctors who don’t,” they tease. Find out what’s true and what’s speculation.

The forum is free and open at all.
