Jingle in the Woods is an Alternative Holiday Event for Those Who Like Things Creepy

Sat 12/13 @ 1-7PM

Christmas is supposed to be all warm and fuzzy, but some people get really annoyed by all that holiday cheer. For them, there’s “Jingle in the Woods — A Creepmas Holifest & Misfit Market,” taking place at Boston Township Hall in Peninsula in the heart of Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

There visitors can encounter such characters as Santa Squatch, Krampus (of course) and Cleveland legend Mr. Jingeling, and hear stories from folklore speakers relating legends such as the Giant Python of Peninsula (Herps Alive will be there with live snakes to really give your the creepie crawlies) and psychic Sandra offering paranormal tales from the Cuyahoga Valley, learn some cryptid lore (Bigfoot, Nessie etc), while getting tips on Bigfoot howls in case you want to attract one. The event also features a local artisan market, with vendors inspired by the land of Misfit Toys, offering with unique gifts, described as “strange, charming, whimsical and weird.”
