Former Peace Corps Volunteers Host Soups of the World Benefit to Fund Ongoing Work

Sat 11/1 @ 6-9PM

The Northern Ohio Returned Volunteer Association (NORVA) is a nonprofit organization founded by former Peace Corps volunteers whose interest in uplifting people worldwide didn’t end when their service did.

Here in Cleveland, former Peace Corps members created an event called Soups of the World, which will take place this year at the National Slovenian Home on St. Clair. Each person attending will get a handmade bowl made for the event by local potters to fill with unlimited homemade soups made from traditional recipes from around the world.  Raffles and silent auction items will be available to bid on to raise more money, which will go to fund local projects that educate people about different cultures, and events to bring together past, present and future Peace Corps community members.

Get tickets here.
