Tanya Kasier’s Kaiser Studios started a new program this year called Renaissance Box to bring together artists and those working in STEM professions, pairing them up to create something hopefully new and special. The second such duo is Artist Jamie Richey and STEM practitioner Nicolas Romano. “Their project,” we’re told, “invites audiences to explore the intersections of creativity, technology, and discovery through interactive, hands-on engagement.”

What they came up with will now be on view as an installation, presumably ready for some of that hands-on engagement at the Cleveland Institute of Art’s Immersive Media Lab at Midtown Collaboration Center at a free, public event. Wednesday September 24. It’s free and open to the public.
