Fri 9/26-Sun 9/28
Aa usual, the three-day Ingenuity Festival, taking place at its Ingenuity Labs at the Hamilton Collaborative, was a feast for the senses, with so much to see and do it would’ve taken several weekends to catch it all. There were performances on multiple stages — music, theater, dance, comedy, drag, storytelling acrobats and more — things to play on and climb, things to make, things to buy, things to eat and drink, people to talk to, people to just watch and admire, and of course FIRE, always a big favorite. We couldn’t catch it all but we were excited to see the two founders of the festival, James Levin and Thomas Mulready, who conceived the idea for bringing the arts and technology together in one giant festival back in the early 2000s, hanging with Emily Applebaum, who has been the festival’s director for the last decade.
