Geauga County No-Kill Rescue Village's Tails at Twilight Gala Helps Fund Animal Care

Fri 6/20 @ 5:30-10PM

The Geauga County Humane Society’s no-kill Rescue Village is a little different from most shelters in the area. Not only does it rescue and adopt out cats and dogs (and other small animals), it also takes in farm animals such as goats, pigs and horses and helps to find them safe, healthy living situations.

Their biggest fundraiser of the year is their Tails at Twilight gala at The Country Club in Pepper Pike. It kicks off from 5:30-7pm with music provided by local jazz pianist Joe Hunter and his trio, to see adoptable animals, and meet the event’s honorary chair Moose, the Golden Retriever, who moonlights as a therapy dog at University Hospitals. Dinner a d program take place from 7-9pm, with a live auction and keynote speaker A. Michaelle Gonzalez, founder of an Ohio mobile veterinary practice called Rascal Unit that provides affordable animal care.
