As you ease into the holiday weekend, looking for things to do, one place to get things started is the Cleveland Botanical Garden. The landscaping is at its peak as we ease into summer, and the gardens are opening for strolling (Don’t miss the heady scents of the herb garden!)
On Thursday evening, Tines on the Terrace will feature a celebration of America’s 250th birthday, with classic rock hits by RockAbility, and an all-American food station from Chef Ben Bebenroth’s Spice Catering, featuring made-to-order sandwiches from pulled chicken or pork, with slaw and pickled onions, outside in the garden. There’ll also be America-themed craftmaking, creating a Native American-style dreamcatcher.
The event, which is family-friendly, is included with regular admission.
