Thu 6/19-Sun 6/29
For the 8th year, more than 30 community partners are joining with founder Canalway Partners to present Cleveland History Days, a week and a half of more than 70 diverse programs taking place all over the city, ranging from talks and panel discussions, to walks and cruises. Organizations such as Lake View Cemetery, the Baseball Heritage Museum, Cleveland Metroparks, the Cleveland History Center and more will be holding events that cover dozens of aspects of Cleveland’s past.
New this year are a preview of the Cleveland History Center’s upcoming exhibition on Cleveland’s role in moviemaking, taking place at the Music Box on Thursday June 19; tours of the new KeyBank Heritage Center on June 20, 24 and 25; a presentation about Cleveland’s iconic bars and pubs on June 20 and 21; and a Canal Basin Park Walking Tour on June 22 and 27. And many of the events are free (some are ticketed).
