Calling all plant fanatics! It’s the 7th year for the Soil & Suds Plant Swap, taking place at Forest City Brewery.
Bring plants to swap and take home something different, watch demos of how to grow, and browse about a dozen vendors offering artsy/craftsy/plantsy things. While you’re at it, you can stand up for the rights of women, as 100% of the proceeds go to Planned Parenthood & Thrive on Change. At the last event, they raised more than$5000 for their charities, the organizers share.
It’s $10 to participate in the swap if you bring with plants, $20 without, as they’ll give you two plants to get started, which you can swap for whatever catches your fancy. Otherwise it’s a free event to shop the vendors or take part in the charity raffles. Plants should be dropped off by 2:30 and the swap begins at 3pm.
