The arts and community groups that make the Coventry PEACE campus their home host quarterly events called Coventry PEACE POPS, where they invite the public to stop by for an evening of (mostly) free events.
Stop by ARTFUL studios to celebrate its tenth anniversary, meet its artists and see some of their work; they’ll be hosting their first-ever Board Members’ Art Show, featuring works by such distinguished local artists as Sarah Curry, David King, Darius Steward and more. Join a free collage workshop with Cleveland multimedia artist/designer Eranah Adorjan, and ogle the giant puppets created by Robin VanLear and her Arts Acts team. (VanLear funder Parade the Circle and was its director until 2020.)
Lake Erie Ink will be hosting a poetry open mic for both youth and adults from 6:30-8pm, while vocalist Kate Porter will perform from 8-9pm. And for the first time the Coventry PEACE POPS will host guest vendors — local businesses and artisans from the community. Callaloo Café will be sharing food samples and selling small plates of their Caribbean-style food.
