NEWS: Rock Hall Website Now Available in Spanish

Like many other organizations and institutions, the Rock Hall has been celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15-October 15) will special programs.

But now it’s revealed that it’s going to be doing something to embrace and include the Hispanic community all year long. It’s just announced the launch of a Spanish language version of  Rockhall.com.

The Rock Hall has already been providing more content in Spanish along with English, as well as foregrounding Hispanic contributions to popular music, with Spanish language content appearing in the Museum’s induction Fan Vote, Rock Hall EDU, live chat, and Facebook Messenger.

“Diversity, equity, accessibility and inclusion are at the forefront of everything we do as a museum,” says Rock Hall President/CEO Greg Harris in a press release. “We are committed to the intentional development of exhibits, programs and outreach through our digital platforms, the museum and community work. Rock & roll is a universal artform that doesn’t know the boundaries of language.”

The Spanish language version of Rockhall.com is accessible by going to the upper left-hand corner of the screen and clicking on the button “Español.”

In the future, the Rock Hall is planning a dedicated exhibit focusing on the influence and impact of Spanish-language rock.
