Networking Is Dead Event Features All-Female Grateful Dead Tribute Band

Sat 9/24 @ 6-11PM

Networking Is Dead is an unusual organization. It’s a business networking group for Grateful Dead fans, proving they’re not all spaced-out hippies in tie-dye who drop acid and dance around in little circles flapping their arms. Not all the time, anyway. Founded in 2016, it has more than 500 members in a variety of serious fields.

The upcoming event will take place at the Beachland Ballroom, with music by touring all-female Grateful Dead tribute band called Brown Eyed Woman, whose six members hail from around the country. It’s their first Cleveland appearance. In addition it will offer a Shakedown Street vendor area with local artisans selling things such as tie-dye apparel, jewelry and original artwork.

Tickets are $35; get them at the Beachland Ballroom website. Event proceeds will go to the Journey Center for Safety and Healing, which offers help to victims of domestic violence and child abuse in northeast Ohio.
