The so-called “Musical Instrument Petting Zoo” is designed to give kids a chance to pick up and hold musical instruments, get a sense of their feel and figure out if it feels right to them.
On the 4th annual Kids Music Day, which hosts such events all across the country, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will be holding one for little potential rockers, hosted by Keep Music Alive and the local School of Rock, which stands ready, willing and able to offer lessons on whatever instrument your kid takes to.
Kids will have a chance to try our multiple percussion instruments, guitars, keyboards and ukuleles, among others. It takes place on Level 0 of the Rock Hall and it’s free; touring the exhibits requires an admission ticket, although city of Cleveland residents are free.
