Take a Brisk Walk in the Cold on the Lakefront With Cleveland Metroparks Historian

Fri 12/21 @ 10-11:30AM

How hardy are you? Hardy enough to do a hike along the Lake Erie shore in December, with blustering winds rolling in off the water?

Then join nature lover/historical interpreter Karen Lakus for a walk through the Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve, a man-made peninsula created to restore a natural environment. As you walk, Lakus will talk about the creation of the peninsula as well as the plants and animals taking root again there. The hike is two miles. It’s free; no registration is required. Meet in the Lakefront administration parking lot at 8701 Lakeshore.
