Join Margaret Lynch of the Irish American Archives Society as she explores the crucial but little known role that Civil War veterans in Cleveland played in promoting Irish nationalism.

Her book, The Day We Celebrate : 175 years of Cleveland’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade, has just been published, chock full of cool photos, maps and the backstory of one of the world’s largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
