Since the early 1960s, the Cleveland Arts Prize has been making awards to artists in all artistic disciplines, as well as those that support the arts, honoring those looking back at long, illustrious careers as well as those in the midst of major career breakthroughs. Each year, it sifts through nominations made by the community and announces its awards in the spring.

Come learn what is going on for the 2018 season with a kickoff party at SPACES Gallery. You’ll get to meet the new officers and trustees, hear talks by previous arts prize winners conductor Liza Grossman (2017) and poet Dave Lucas (2016), and learn about a new program the organization is launching with the Cleveland Foundation. It’s free but register at the Cleveland Arts Prize website.
