The Cleveland-based nonprofit Folknet has been promoting acoustic and traditional music for nearly three decades. One of the ways it does so is by sponsoring open mics such as its monthly one at Loganberry Books, hosted by Folknet board member (and singer/songwriter) Mallory San Marco. Come down and play or just listen, but be warned: you might find yourself browsing the well-stocked shelves of this sprawling independent bookstore and come home owning a few more books than you did before you went. It’s free.
