Get out in the country and visit one of the region’s working farms when the Spicy Lamb Farm hosts its Fall Festival. One of the farms reclaimed through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park Countryside Initiative, the 12-acre spread in Peninsula is located inside the park.
The festival features crafts, games, live music, cooking demonstrations, shopping from local craftspeople and honey tasting. You’ll have the chance to tour their new barn and watch sheep herding and shearing demonstrations. And you can have lunch there too with a reservation paid in advance. If it rains, events will take place in the barn and pavilion. It’s $10 for adults, $12 kids 12 and under.
