/>Collier was in Cleveland for trumpeter Dominick Farinacci’s new album project, produced by the legendary Tommy LiPuma and first-call studio players like drummer Steve Gadd, guitarist Dean Parks, keyboardist Larry Goldings, and bassist Christian McBride.

Cool Cleveland’s Thomas Mulready spoke with Collier during a break in the studio at Tri-C’s Tommy LiPuma Center for Creative Arts, after a sleepless night during which he put together an arrangement of “Somebody I Used To Know.” They talk about Collier’s fascination with music, how he shoots his videos under his bedroom in his London home, his next project, and what the Royal Academy of Music in London could possibly teach him.
