The Lakehouse Inn and Winery, just west of “the Strip” in Geneva-on-the-Lake, is a bed-and-breakfast that feels more like an upscale motel. Its terraced eatery out back on the lakefront offers several different outdoor seating options, and its indoor Crosswinds Grille features a wood-fired, farm-to-table local sourced menu, featuring lots of meat (there is one vegetarian option), pizzas and in-season seafood specials. Unlike many GotL eateries, it’s open for dinner year round, as well as breakfast on weekends. Wines of all varieties are produced and bottled onsite.
