Morgana Run Trail

Have you seen that giant purple and green weed that sprouted up, as if in a crack in the pavement along I-77 near the Fleet Avenue exit? You can’t miss it. This curious marker is a trail head and a sign that something extraordinary is happening in Slavic Village.

Morgana Run Trail is a paved corridor of multi-purpose trails that runs through Cleveland’s urban neighborhood of Slavic Village. Bikers, hikers and even skaters can travel from Broadway West, past I-77 to Washington Park and beyond, all the way down the edge of the Cuyahoga Valley, past Canal Way Center to the Ohio & Erie Canal Tow Path Trail.

East from Broadway the trail runs past a colorful abstract mural, called Pixelating Morgana, and along an old railway, emerging at its Southern end at Mill Creek Falls, the largest waterfall in Cuyahoga County. From there you can cycle down the Warner Road Hill to connect with the Tow Path Trail further South or travel East along a green-lined pathway into Garfield Park.
