The Waterloo Sculpture Garden hosts the Collinwood Painted Rain Barrel Project’s Rain Barrel Assembly and Painting Clinic. Local artists Katie Maurer, Rachel Strongoli, Ryan Upp and Linda Zolten Wood will be on hand to help participants assemble and decorate their own rain barrel.
The clinic is free if you bring your own rain barrel or you can purchase one (and all the fittings – diverter kit sold separately) for just $20. Barrels are limited, so pre-registration is recommended. Live music provided by Doug Wood. In case of heavy rain, the clinic will be rescheduled for Sunday September 1st 11am-3pm. Potluck refreshments are encouraged.
