Sisters Kharisma & Kyra Mayo started their Vegan Doughnut Company as a home based business after they went vegan in 2014 and found it hard to satisfy their craving for doughnuts.
After several years of selling their products at farmers markets and flea-style events, they opened a storefront in Lakewood in 2018. There you can find standard flavors such as chocolate and glazed, along with more exotic choices such as lemon lavender and strawberry shortcake. All are handmade and use organic and local ingredients as much as possible. They’re open Friday-Sunday, so drop in and stock up for the week!
