Angie’s has made its reputation for 25 years offering familiar southern comfort food in modest surroundings. The care goes into the food, not the décor at its three locations. You won’t be startled by what you find on the menu: Fried chicken, catfish sandwiches, chicken and waffles, smothered pork chops, macaroni & cheese, collard greens, peach cobbler. The menu includes some non-southern comfort foods too, like spaghetti and meatloaf. Angie’s also caters and does carryout so you can enjoy a soul food feast at home without messing up the kitchen.
With two locations on the southeast side, it also opened in early 2020 on major commuter route Carnegie in the former Hot Sauce Williams space, which it completely renovated.
