Cleveland favorite Southside Johnny has updated his Asbury Jukes with some new players, now known as The Poor Fools (you gotta love ’em!), and they hit The Kent Stage tonight with his “No Rules, No Fences” approach to creating his set list.
Each night, the set could include Jukes standards and other tunes by everyone from Bob Dylan to Emmylou Harris to The Band to George Jones to The Beatles. Always known as the world’s greatest bar band leader, Southside Johnny promises, “A loose mix of snogs, stories and banter between the musicians- and hopefully- the audience.” He won’t have a problem with that at the intimate Kent Stage.
