Sun 1/9 @ 2PM
The Cleveland Orchestra, under the direction of Assist. Conductor James Feddeck, presents a concert for the whole fam on Sun 1/9 focusing on Russian ballet music. Hear a suite from Igor Stravinsky’s The Firebird among other selections. Pre-concert activities include snacks, children’s artwork, dancing, coloring & an instrument discovery workshop.

In addition to the suite from The Firebird, the program includes Mikhail Glinka’s Overture to Ruslan and Ludmila, a scene from Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s Dance of the Tumblers from Snow Maiden, and Sergei Prokofiev’s Dance of the Knights from Romeo and Juliet. Please note: the dancers will perform with the Orchestra in The Firebird. The Orchestra will perform the rest of the selections.
