Bellydancing is beautiful, when done right. Dancers w/ Dance du Soleil have trained hard in the art of bellydancing and are taking it to a whole new level. On Fri 8/27, they’ll put on Soleil Carnivale… Beyond the Rhythm, a performance of bellydance/samba fusion, Capoeira, a cowgirl cancan and Dance du Soleil’s own unique style — lyrical bellydance.
A few facts:
Soleil Carnivale will display the talents of the thriving bellydance community in Northeast Ohio. The show features mother-daughter duo Leyla and Babette Soleil and Dance du Soleil, a group of amazing women who have dedicated their lives to dance.
In addition Soleil Carnivale will showcase numerous guest performers, including professional dancers Angela Prato, Mariah, Ameera Paone, Kelli Belly, Gypsy Soul, April Ahzar, Sahar Hinna, Razia, and Kali’s Fire.
