While we’re sure that the Walkabout Tremont events will still be fun in the winter, you should probably go this month to get the full experience if you haven’t been yet. And this month’s event is dubbed “Aloha Summer.”
Launched this past May to replace the former Tremont Art Walk, the monthly events aim to focus on a wider range of Tremont offerings than just art. There’s plenty of art, of course, but there are also food and drink specials in a large group of participating restaurants and bars, pop-up tents with vendors and artists, live music and street entertainers including jump ropers, belly dancers and fire hula-hoopers. The organizers are hoping you’ll have so much fun you might decide to spend the entire weekend in Tremont.
