Sun 9/14 @ 9AM-3PM

Yoga is all about improving one’s physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health, uplifting oneself through deliberate exercises and focused meditation. And there’s no better environment for that than outdoors in nature.

The Cleveland Yoga Fest, now in its 6th year, is an opportunity for yoga enthusiasts to spend a day outdoors at Edgewater Park, with hundreds of other practitioners, striking their poses while breathing fresh air off the lake. Some attendees have dubbed the event, described as being about “recharging your soul through yoga, community connection, meditation, music, and the incredible work of local artisans,” “the happiest day of the year.”

The event opens with a main stage yoga class, followed by a classes in a variety of styles, led by different teachers, so you can find your own comfort level. Sound bath and Zumba are among the offerings, as well as Hikyoga classes, in which hiking through Edgewater Park and yoga poses are combined.  There are kids’ activities too.

When you need to take a break, there are food, music and local vendors onsite as well.
