FAVA — the Firelands Association for the Visual Arts — is once again presenting its FAVE Art Fair in the Square, taking place at Oberlin’s Tappen Square.
There nearly 100 vendors in a wide range of mediums will have their art on display and for sale, an inclusive mix of creators that includes professional artists, students and children. There’ll also be booths for community groups such as the Oberlin Free Store for Kids, the Oberlin Heritage Center, the Earth Spirt Temple, Goodwill Industries, Oberlin Kids, and the League of Women Voters of Lorain County, among others.
There’ll be live music all days with lively swamp rockers Cats on Holiday from 10am-noon, folk rockers Maura Rogers and the Bellows from 12:30-2pm, and Tall Paul and the Western Drawl from 2:30-4pm. A half dozen food trucks will be onsite as well.
There’s no admission charge.
