Want to have a barrel of fun? Head on out to the Slovenian SNPJ Farm in Kirtland where the Polka Brunch will be taking place in the pavilion. The music will be provided by Kathy Hlad, the Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame’s Button Box Accordionist of the Year, who’ll be playing polkas to strut to and waltzes to swirl to.
You’ll want to get on the dance floor to work off what you’re going to eat, including baked egg strata, buttermilk pancakes, Slovenia potatoes, sausage, Danish and fruit cups. Brunch is served from 10am-2pm, and Hlad and friends will take the stage at 11 to play for three hours.
Tickets are $10 which you can purchase in advance by calling 440-951-9611. The proceeds will go toward putting a new roof on the SNPJ Farm.
The brunch is the final event in a summer-long series of events celebrating the SNPJ Farms’ 75th year.
