Slow Roll Cleveland Explores North Collinwood

Mon 6/29 @ 6PM

As long as the weather’s warm — until the end of October, that is — Slow Roll Cleveland Rolls out every Monday evening at 7pm from a different Cleveland neighborhood, taking riders on a leisurely ten-mile ride through that section of town. It attracts hundreds of riders each week.

This week, it will depart from Euclid Beach Park and explore the North Collinwood area where the Cleveland Metroparks has recently upgraded the area where the Euclid Beach amusement park once stood, with a beach, fishing piers, concessions and more. The ride is likely to include the nearby Waterloo Arts District, anchored by the Beachland Ballroom & Tavern, where shops, galleries, bars and cafes have slowly begun to flourish.

The rides are designed for cyclists of all ages, experience and abilities, and its Squad is always on hand to help anyone who runs into difficulties, as well as to guide the ride. Make sure your bike is in good working order, and they recommend wearing a helmet.

It’s free and open to all.
