If you think a little jazz, mingling with some pop and soul, can be a really nice way to pass a summer evening, think about heading over to the Irishtown Bend Taproom at Market Garden Brewery in Ohio City to catch jazz/R&B/gospel keyboard player David Thomas and his band—guitarist Kevin Byas, bassist Tony Dedwiley and drummer Deion Willaims—play up a quiet storm.
To add some lilt and sass to the evening, they’ll be joined by special guest vocalist Sherena Wynn, a versatile singer/writer/arranger/ educator who’s done backup vocals for the O’Jays, Gerald Levert and Angie Stone.
