The downtown Willoughby merchants and Willoughby Arts Collaborative will be hosting another second Saturday to showcase downtown businesses, and local food and art.
This month’s event has a special theme: it’s a Wine & Chocolate walk, and those are two things that bring comfort to many in these fraught times. With a theme of a Wine & Chocolate Walk, the Second Saturday of November will include an opportunity to shop downtown merchants and enjoy the variety of food in local restaurants. Various locations throughout downtown will be offering wine and chocolate samples, amidst all the other street activities including live music, pop-up dance performances by the dance teams at The Fine Arts Association, and artist vendors selling their work, weather permitting.
There’ll also be a “group sketch” from1-3pm sponsored by the Willoughby Arts Collaborative as part of its time capsule project. Participants are asked to bring something to sit on and art supplies, although they’ll have paper and pencils for those who join in spontaneously.
