Local independent music venue owners, musicians, county officials and others gathered at the Rock Hall to celebrate the reopening of the venues, and what appears to be the survival of all of the area’s beloved clubs, thanks to support from both the federal government and county. With clubs like the Beachland, the Grog Shop and the Music Box already reopened, and others (such as the Happy Dog, which reopens the weekend of June 25-26) soon to do so, there was a lot of good news to share, as people enjoyed a reunion with others they hadn’t seen in more than a year.
