78th Street Studios Celebrates Its 25-Year Journey to Become the Area's Leading Arts Hub

Sat 7/11 @ 6:30-11PM

In the last 25 years, local arts lovers have become increasingly familiar with 78th Street Studios, and its Third Fridays have become one of the most popular art evenings in the region. Once there were just a few artists in the sprawling building and a couple of galleries that did the heavy lifting of attracting patrons. Now the activity packs four floors, and almost every available space is filled with an artist/designer studio, a gallery or an arts-related business such as a theater or recording studio, with guest vendors in the event spaces on Third Friday; in peak months, throngs of visitors fill the corridors elbow-to-elbow. And many bring their dogs!

This weekend, 78th Street Studios will be celebrating its 25 years of growth into its role as Cleveland’s most prominent arts hub, will honor the building’s owner Dan Bush who created and helped build the concept of an arts building. The evening will include food, drink, music by live musicians and DJs, and, of course, art. Tickets are just $25, which includes one drink ticket. Go here to get them and join the celebration.
